Go West Young Dogs!
Nigel & Divot explore
Bell Rock Trail just
hours after our arrival.
In June of 2005, Nigel and Divot made a big move! We all moved from Michigan to
Arizona, specifically the beautiful area of Sedona.
My husband Michael and I have always had a love for Sedona and we set our minds
to make a change in our lives and one thing led to another and here we are. We had a
very successful move and Nigel and Divot did very well with all the changes. Sure, there
were times of confusion for them, but in true Norwich fashion, they seemed to view it
as an adventure and an opportunity to smell new smells, see new things, and meet new
people. Within a remarkably short time, they seem as at home here as they did in the
home where they grew up.
Nigel and Divot are very happy, outgoing and robust little dogs and love hiking
amongst the famous red rocks of Sedona. Sedona is a dog-friendly community and
Nigel and Divot are welcome most anywhere — from the little shops along the main
street, to outdoor restaurants, where they would prefer being offered a chair and a
plate of food rather than sitting politely under the table but they take what hospitality
they can get. They love the attention they get wherever we take them, and we are
constantly stopped and asked about them. Mike and I are always happy to answer
questions about Norwich Terriers and Nigel and Divot are always happy to
accommodate those wishing to pet and kiss them.
Many of you have commented on the lush green lawn and the abundant flowers
that have made the beautiful backdrops for previous versions of Norwich Tales but
we think you will like this different kind of beauty too. The high desert is different to
be sure but we know you will love the new look of Norwich Tales because after all,
Nigel and Divot make it what it is and wherever they go, beauty, love and laughter
go too.
